Arizona, the Grand Canyon state, is the 6th largest in area with diverse populations including 29% Hispanic and 21 Indian Reservations. Southwestern culture means all types of salsas, gazpacho, quesadillas and burritos. Arizona is the winter vegetable capitol with lettuce leading the way, plus broccoli, chili peppers, cauliflower and tomatoes. It is the 10th state in vegetable and fruit production, like citrus and melons. Almost 50% of our nation's fresh produce enters the border at Nogales, Arizona.
